Vision Action’s Q3 Impact Report for 2025–2026 reflects a period of consolidation, momentum, and strategic focus as we prepare for the next phase of our work. Throughout the quarter, our teams, partners, and supporters continued to work collaboratively to strengthen eye health systems and ensure that preventable vision loss never limits opportunity.
Across our country programmes, delivery prioritised sustainability and system integration. In Ethiopia and Ghana, we strengthened Primary Eye Care and paediatric services through workforce training, supportive supervision, and clinical capacity building in partnership with government and professional bodies. In Zambia, efforts focused on preserving infrastructure, advancing policy engagement, and supporting specialist training to build long-term national capacity. While services in Sierra Leone remain temporarily paused, progress continues toward a sustainable relaunch.
Our Volunteer Programme played a vital role in building local capacity through peer learning and paediatric optometry training, while fundraising activity focused on year-end income and stewardship, culminating in a successful Big Give Christmas Challenge. At the same time, our Impact, Innovation and Research work strengthened partnerships and organisational systems, ensuring evidence and learning remain central to future decision-making.
