Hall & Co Eyewear

Hall & Co Eyewear is an award-winning opticians and eyewear boutique situated in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Founder, Jonathan Hall, has a passion for getting glasses and eye care to people in poverty and has dedicated many hours to volunteering with VAO as well as leading the creation of our successful Vision for a Village campaign.

Thanks to Jonathan’s support, Vision for a Village was able to be delivered to four districts within Sierra Leone: Kailahun, Kono, Kenema and Bombali.

Before 2013, these areas had no optometry or spectacle dispensing services. Since then, Hall & Co has supported the launch of four Vision Centres and the training of 14 Optometry Technicians. We are working with local government to train more healthcare professionals at the community level in eye health and provide school based eyecare for teachers and students.
